Heavey 2×12 combo with graphic EQ from the early 70s

None original Celestions made for Line 6 amps.. should sound OK though
Great Partridge Irons! 2xEL34 tubes Tubes are newish Ruby tubes with a big mis match in gain..
Very Similar construction to Laneys of that era as they were manufactured by the same contractor
Caps all test good and look fine
As only a power amp the circuit is just a standard inverter circuit for one 12AX7
Oops on of the 100K resistors broken away..
repaired
Interesting 470K added across the 56K bias resistor at some time.. that would have very little effect. Will make this adjustable shortly
Ooops end of the board is somewhat broken (my Laney Klipp was exactly the same)
Fixed with a strip of pickguard material
Bias supply now adjustable and 1K screen resistors used
Preamp in situe a bit of a pig to get out..

Some of the fader knobs missing
All up on the bench and with an alternative set of EL34 tubes used she is beginning to sing again! Dan Armstrong 60 Watt combo in to get her going! Came out as a nice 60 Watt combo. She has a solid state front end with I think the first Graphic Equalizer on a guitar amp? Great breakup when driven!
