Mid 60s WEM Pick a Back head not playing ball….Rear viewGreat feet!Number 98 produced!Power caps needed replacingNew dual 50uF capThis cap had to go as wellSingle 22uF capA few other components replaced with ones that are much closer to spec 😉New Rectifier and output tubes and one preamp that is closer in gain (and the same brand) as the other. The PI is split between 2 tubes and they had drastically different gainsAll back together and sounding great flat out into a 2×12 cab! Nice ER15 amp which needed new rectifier and new output tubes electrolytics and several resistors changing before she worked well. Also the valve sockets needed re-tensioning. After that she sounded great! real nice into a 2×12 cab and cranked! lovely distortion!
